These Oystercatchers were feeding along the tideline in Kilbaha harbour, back west at Loop Head today.

This evening on my way up to Shannon Airport, I stopped off to photograph some Oystercatchers.  As one travels into the airport in winter, birds are regularly seen feeding along the roadside, approach roundabouts and on the grassy verges between the footpaths and road.
